Bianca Mireles is a native Texan, currently residing in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She’s a writer, graphic designer, and a freelance artist and ceramicist. Her primary focus is reinterpreting Mesoamerican subject matter through a contemporary style. She hopes her work inspires the revival and celebration of the mythology of the pre-colonial Americas. Art is a social tool, and she hopes to help reinvigorate the self-perception of those with Mesoamerican heritage and its place in the past and present. She has also done several mural projects involving youth art groups in Texas, New Hampshire, and Boston, MA. She received Bachelors degrees in English and Studio Art at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
